Meiji Period, signed Kinzando sei in a double square
As a parody on Rosei's Dream, the exterior is painted with a pouch-form panel depicting a man asleep in a room with women fulling cloth and spinning silk threads. The remainder of the exterior is wrapped with his dream of an elaborate fête attended by bijin, Fuden, Raiden, Shoki with oni. The dream sequence is reserved against a ground of massed brocade designs. The interior is centered by two apsara within brocade and floral borders and the majority of the interior wall is enameled with a continuous scene of beauties in a winter landscape. Diameter 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm).
