'Bal Masque' Cocktail Dress
American Copy of Yves Saint Laurent Design, circa 1958
Strapless, with dropped waist and bell-shaped skirt, outer layers of draped and gathered black spotted net caught at intervals with black satin bows, overlaying ivory understructure, size 6.
Very good condition.
The dress is a copy, with variations, of Yves Saint Laurent for Dior Bal Masque model, Printemps-Ete, 1958, owned by the Duchess of Windsor.
