30 x 25 inches Note: one version of this painting is located in the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute, Utica, NY; one is in the collection of the Worcester Museum of Art, MA; one is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City; one was formally in the collection of the Player's Club in New York (whereabouts now unknown). Huntington said he had painted two versions of this portrait of Mary Inman as Beatrice. The first was for William H. Appleton of New York, the second was painted for a gentleman in Philadelphia. There are at least 3 other known copies by his students.
