The entire exterior is decorated in gold and some silver with masses of birds and flowers, the bottom with two long panels, one of waterbirds with iris and kiku, the other depicting the Karamon and Tokugawa mausoleum complex at Nikko; gilt interior. Diameter 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm).
