Companion Pair of Louis XVI Gilt-Bronze Mounted Mahogany Diminutive Bookcases
Late 18th century
Each rectangular gray inset marble top with three-quarter pierced brass gallery, above a frieze mounted with a beaded edge, over three open shelves similarly decorated, raised on circular tapering legs. Height of largest 26 1/2 inches (67 cm), width 23 1/2 inches (60 cm), depth 6 1/2 inches (16.5).
