Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Moon Flasks
Third quarter of the 19th century
Against a field of scattered flowers and foliage encircling the edges, the flasks are decorated with two large circular panels, one with pheasant amidst rockwork and flowering trees and the other with operatic scenes of historical dramas. The straight necks are flanked by free-form blue dragons. Height 15 7/8 inches (40.3 cm).
