Collection of approximately 650 still photographs, vintage prints or later copies, including many with studio identification of scene on verso, several with the photographer's stamp of Harold Dean Carsey or Elmer Fryer, mostly 14 x 10 inches or 10 x 8 inches, a few smaller. A few with signs of wear.

Billie Dove (1901-1997) entered the chorus line of "The Ziegfeld Follies" in 1916 and was an immediate success, considered the most beautiful girl in the show; when she died at age 96 she was the oldest surviving Ziegfeld girl. She made her first movie in 1921; over the next ten years she appeared in forty-three movies, retiring in 1932. Most copies of her films were destroyed in a studio fire.
