Frontispiece and plates. 8vo, decorated cloth, in cloth slipcase. Front hinges cracked, free front endpaper and first blank leaf detached but present, title and about twenty pages lightly stained in lower margin. First blank inscribed "For young DeWitt Clinton from his friend Harriet Beecher Stowe. Dec 29, 1894. Hartford Conn." According to pencil notation DeWitt Clinton (descendant and namesake of the Mayor of New York) was born in 1894. With Clinton armorial bookplate.
