Two Classic Norell Knit Shirtwaist Dresses
American, late 1960s
Identically styled, one black, the other red and navy, with flat square collar, long cuffed sleeves, buttoning down the the front to hip level with mother-of-pearl buttons and French buttonholes, softly gathered skirt, side pockets, black leather belt with first, red self tie belt with second, first five inches longer than second, each size 4, the first labeled: Norman Norell for Bonwit Teller, the second Norman Norell/New York.
Each excellent condition, except moth damage to one sleeve of second.
