Rococo Revival Beaded Evening Suit
American, 1950s
Of cream shantung silk, comprising a thigh length jacket and floor length skirt, the jacket an interpretation of an 18th century man's coat, the pocket flaps and center front embroidered with turquoise sequins, beads and gold braid, the jacket back pleated and released into folds, the skirt slightly flared, size 10, labeled: Bonwit Teller/New York/Anthony Blotta.
Excellent condition.
