Camp shirt style, with notched collar and V front, of white silk charmeuse screened in water resistant inks with signature design of the artist comprising diagonal red, blue, yellow and black stripes of graduated and solid ben-day dots, generic size, printed signature label: R. Lichtenstein '79/Published by Artists Space, New York/Printed By the Fabric Workshop/Philadelphia, handwritten in ink 83/100.
Very good condition, unworn, some small pin holes in back, especially at lower center.
The shirt is the only piece of clothing designed by the artist. It was made for a fundraising event to benefit Artists Space in a limited edition of 100.
