American, late 1950s
Of ivory and white silk brocaded with tulip pattern, the gown strapless, with bodice cuff, interior boned bustier, full skirt gathered at waist, the six-foot train velvet lined, fitting over the neck to create front cape effect, size 6-8, labeled: Pauline Trigere.
Excellent condition.
The gown was worn by a future bride at her engagement party.
