Versace Jeweled Strap Cocktail Dress
Italian, Fall/Winter, 1992
Ivory, sewn in gold threads with raised ribs, the backless bib front bodice with two wide jeweled straps crisscrossing at back and a third crossing horizontally midway, the skirt short and full, the bodice top and petticoat hem trimmed with elaborate gold openwork passementerie studded with gem set stones, small round gold balls and other paillettes, the straps covered with similar balls and other paillettes, separate crinoline petticoat with gold lace hem, size 6, labeled: Versace Couture.
