English Porcelain Dinner Service
Early 19th century
Comprising eighteen luncheon plates, fifteen dinner plates, six rimmed soup plates, covered sauce tureen on stand, two shell-form dishes, four lozenge-form dishes, two square dishes, two oval platters and footed two-handled compote, each decorated with blue and red flowers and gilt leafage continuing to a cobalt blue rim. Diameter of dinner plate 9 1/2 inches (24 cm), height of compote 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm).
