The rectangular case with canted corners and three drawers, the top drawer fitted with a writing surface, raised on an acanthus carved stem and four acanthus carved hipped legs ending in paw feet and casters. Height 30 inches, width 22 1/4 inches, depth 17 1/2 inches.

Horizontal expansion crack to right side. Vertical expansion cracks on left and rear stiles. Two visible nail holes on top from nails added later. Edge wear to top and apron. Writing surface warped.
