Group of Three Japanese Articles
19th and 20th Centuries, Meiji Period
Comprising a teardrop-form bronze vase, incised with songbirds and blossoming chrysanthemum in bronze, silver and gilt, signed Yoshihiro; bronze miniature screen inlaid with gold and silver on one side with a kingfisher perched on stumps above a basket of fish, the reverse with a blossoming lily, the rectangular form set on two arched feet; and a plique a jour dish, on three bracket feet, a design of multicolored flowers within silver wire. Height of vase 6 1/4 inches.
