The lid worked in gold with bamboo and blossoming prunus on a grassy mound with similar designs on the sides, black interior. Height 5 3/8 inches, width 12 1/4 inches, depth 45 3/4 inches.

light scratches to black above prunus flowers and small indentation, gilt border on lid has been regilded , probably, seam of sides & top splitting, so regilded evidence of resealing on interior as well, the restoration is well done. base with small rim chip, surface scratches & one small gouge on exterior base, base corners are rubbed
