Pair of Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Vases
Probably Xianfeng Period, 19th century
On a rich blue ground decorated with bird and flower panels and lotus scrolls, the vases are set on either side with large panels of phoenix with other birds amidst rockwork and peonies, the feet and sharply incurving shoulders are decorated with colorful lappet bands and the neck is decorated en suite with the bottoms. Height 24 3/4 inches.

a Glaze gap to turquoise interior of mouth on one vase, same vase has old shallow foot rim chip, overall good condition.
