Chinese Archaistic Bronze Censer
Fangding, 18th/19th century
Of rectangular form, raised on four hollow cylindrical legs, the body worked in high relief with taotie masks bisected by raised flanges and on a leiwen ground, the rim with a pair of upright handles, wood cover and stand, the base with four-character mark within a square. Height 14 1/8 inches.
