Album of 14 original watercolors and one pencil sketch of English porcelain including examples of Nantgarw, Swansea, Chelsea, Dr. Wall Worcester, Coalport, etc. Each watercolor signed and dated by Hurlbutt and several annotated by him. Most dated 1919-1920. Folio album bound in three-quarter purple morocco over marbled boards. Spine faded.
Hurlbutt was one of the major authorities on English porcelain in the 1920s and 30s, the author of definitive books on Derby, Bow, Bristol, etc.
