Frame rubbing. Visibel stretcher marks. Few scattered abrasions, particularly along the lower right edge. Canvas is slightly buckled along the bottom edge, there appears to have been a ding and subsequently a repaired tear at bottom center. There is also a corresponding 2 x 2 inch patch on the reverse.
Heavy masking varnish makes it difficult to detect resoration under UV light, though some inpainting is visible in the area at bottom center mentioned above (as well as some around the face of the figure).
