Frame rubbing. Canvas is slightly buckled, particularly at the upper left and beneath the figure's face, extending from her chin to her bosom. Few scattered abrasions, including a backwards L'shaped abrasion at the upper right (though no paint loss) and another smaller abrasion with loss immediately to the left. A few other scattered surface damages, with minor losses mostly along the bottom edge.

Two patches on the reverse, including one with tape at the upper center and a 2 x 2 patch just below the middle. 1/4 inch ding at bottom left with minor paint loss. Dirty varnish.
