Baltic Neoclassical Mahogany Console and Mirror
Second quarter of the 19th century
The mirror with architectural cornice and pediment, above a rectangular glass panel within a long frame flanked by columnar supports, resting on a console having a rectangular top above a frieze with central egg and dart carved oval reserve, raised on columnar supports ending in a shaped stretcher shelf. Height of mirror 6 feet 1 1/2 inches (1.87 m), width 28 inches (71 cm), height of console 33 inches (84 cm), width 29 inches (74 cm), depth 15 inches (38 cm).
