Frame rubbing, particularly pronounced along lower left and upper right edge. Wax lined. 1 inch area of repair at lower left. Thin in areas. 2 inch scratch at center right. Scattered small spots of inpainting; mainly in the background, few spots in the figure, near feet. Another 1 inch area of repair at lower center. Difficult to detect older restoration through the dulling varnish under UV light. Also, please note the work is oil on canvas laid down on board.
