Pair of Japanese Bronze Tsuba
19th Century
Of oval form, shibuichi, ji-migaki, figures taking shelter from the rain as clouds swirl above and lightning strikes, the reverse with similar scene, all in relief of shakudo with copper, gold and silver zogan, signed Shoraku (Okamoto Nashige) with kakihan in silver. Height 2 5/8 inches.
