Three Japanese Kozuka
19th Century
One copper with a raised rim, two shi shi, one in gold taka-bori of silver, shakudo and gold; one worked with a riverboat laden with items for the Seven Household Gods on silver waves, taka-bori of gold, silver and shakudo, urahokin, neko-gaki; and one shibuichi, depicting Kwanu, the Chinese God of War, holding his halberd below a pine tree, atsu-niku-bori, partially inlaid with gold, silver and copper, reverse shibuichi and ji-migaki. Lengths 3 3/4 inches.
