Two Japanese Fuchi-Kashira
19th Century
One of shakudo with an ishime ground, both pieces decorated with horses in taka-bori of shibuichi with silver inlay, gold willow tree branches above the horse on the fuchi, signed Nahoharu; the other of iron decorated on both pieces with The Seven Gods of Good Fortune playing the game go, worked in taka-bori of gold, silver, shakudo and shibuichi with gold and silver inlay, signed Shoroken Yoshimitsu. Lengths 1 1/2 inches.
