Shakudo, both pieces depicting an episode in the story of Watanabe, the kashira with Watanabe grabbing the arm of the oni Rashomon coming from a cloud above in taka-bori of gold, silver, copper and shakudo, the fuchi with the horse of Watanabe in taka-bori of shakudo and zogan of gold, heavy clouds and rain in the background, signed Takase Eiju of Furyuken. Length 1 1/2 inches.
