Frame rubbing. Dirty yellowed varnish. There appears to have been a split in the panel along the left edge, roughly 2 1/2'' in from the center (there is corresponding tape/binding on the reverse).
There appears to be an inventory number on the reverse of the panel at the upper right (19-1-44 in red); it is also numbered R1504 in white on the reverse.
