1915 S Panama-Pacific, $50 Gold, Octagonal
Beautiful Mint State 64 specimen showing dolphins on the outer rim which are absent from the round type. Limited to sales of only 645 pieces, no doubt due to the shape and weight, the balance were eventually melted. This Choice example offers a deep honey lustre with faint reddish undertones.
