Late 19th century
The red domed cage with ivory and carved wood accessories and detailing, the stand pole terminating in a dragon's head, lacquered with scrolling foliage on a red ground set into a round tiered base with scrolling lotus and blossoming floral sprays. Height 6 feet 4 inches.
