Standing four-square, the head raised, the docked tail held up, with trappings and saddle blanket in white, red and orange. Height 18 inches, width 22 1/2 inches.
Research Laboratory for Archaeology and the History of Art, Oxford, England, thermoluminescence sample number 766z25, November 27, 1996, is consistent with the dating of this lot.
