Louis XVI Style Gilt-Metal Mounted Marquetry Mahogany and Walnut Gentleman's Commode
The mottled brown, gray and white rectangular marble top with canted corners, surrounded by a three-quarter reticulated gallery, above a conforming case enclosing a pair of cupboard doors and four sliding grays, decorated with bouquets tied with ribbon knots, over three full drawers flanked by faux fluted pilasters, raised on short tapering square legs. Height 55 1/2 inches, width 40 3/4 inches, depth 16 1/2 inches.
