Of shaped oval form, depiciting Boucher's Birth of Venus, she in a reclining pose and holding a white dove, surrounded by female attendants and cupids. Height 11 1/2 inches.

There is either the slightest and smallest of scratches or else a very tiny area of paint loss on the decorated side of the tray in the area of Venus' mouth; otherwise the tray appears to be in good condition; has the Meissen blue underglaze crossed swords mark; mark is not cancelled.
