The circular dial with black Roman numerals, surmounted by a young courting couple, ending in a naturalistic rectangular base ending in a conforming plinth of sarcophagus form, decorated with trefoil, quatrefoil and foliate motifs, on scrolling legs. Height 18 3/8 inches, width 14 inches.
