In the form of a truncated rocaille decorated pedestal surmounted by a circular clock case containing a white enameled dial with cobalt Roman numerals, flanked on one side by a kneeling shepherdess and a sheep, and a male admirer and his dog on the other side, on a naturalistic rectangular base ending in a conforming white marble plinth and toupie feet. Height 11 1/4 inches, width 9 inches.
