Louis XVI Style Gilt-Bronze and Marble Figural Mantel Clock
In the form of two bacchantes carrying a fabric draped stretcher surmounted by a circular clock case with a white enameled dial and black Arabic numerals, surmounted by grape clusters and vines, the sunburst pendulum with a bacchanalian portrait, on a naturalistic oval base of break front outline ending in a conforming stepped plinth ending in bun feet. Height 16 1/2 inches, width 16 1/2 inches.
