Two Chinese Export Porcelain Guglets
Mid-third quarter of the 18th century
Each of ovoid form, rising to a narrow neck, one pointed on either side with women and children in a garden setting below smaller rose colored landscape cartouches on a floral spray and gilt ground; the other painted with European scenes of figures among boats and buildings on an estuary, the mouth with a spearhead border. Height of taller 9 5/8 inches (24.5 cm).
