Frame rubbing. Visible stretcher marks. Surface dirt, slightly yellowed varnish. Scattered cracquelure. Scattered inpainting, heaviest along bottom edge, particularly bottom center and bottom right. Also areas in clouds at upper right. Largest area of restoration is a 3 x 2 inch area above center, possibly a repaired tear. Varnish layer inhibits detection of further inpainting. Condition commensurate with age.
