Frame rubbing. Visible stretcher marks. Scattered craquelure and areas of minute paint loss. There is a 3'' repaired tear at the lower right with a corresponding patch on the reverse. Areas of restoration visible along the edges, the aforementioned tear, surrounding the Pope's head as well as a few spots in his robe. Condition commensurate with age.
