i. Man: Toned with rather heavy mat burn along the edges. Traces of glue residue along the verso edges from previous mounting. Light areas of foxing, especially along the bottom edge and to the right of the man's head.
ii. Woman: Toned with mat burn along the edges. Traces of glue residue along the verso edges. Minute areas of foxing.
