Tibetan Tanka of a Kagyu Lama
14th/15th Century
Seated facing forward in padmasana, wearing monastic robes with his right hand in bhumisparsa mudra and his left hand in vitarka mudra, on a double lotus throne with alternating lions and elephants, against a blue ground with single pink blossoms.
7 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches
