Group of Gorham Martele Silver Articles
Circa 1905-17
Comprising a sauceboat and undertray, each with undulating rim, and a fish serving fork with conforming decoration; Together with a Similar Gorham Sterling Silver Sauce Ladle. The curved handle decorated with rocaille motifs, the bowl with a subtle martele texture. Height of sauceboat 5 inches, length of undertray 8 3/4 inches, total approximately 31 ounces.
Provenance:
This group of silver has descended in the same family since its original purchase when new.

Tray: Scratch marks to top side; same marks stamped on the underside, as above; also with the same monogram.
Fork and ladle: Each appears to be in good condition; each is monogrammed but is rendered differently than sauce boat and tray. Fork stamped martele and 9584; ladle numbered A 5408 with Gorham trademark symbol but not martele.
