Frame rubbing. Lined; surface is quite flat. Dirty, yellowed varnish. Few light spots at upper left corner. 1/4'' loss at lower left. Minute abrasions along right center edge. Dense masking varnish inhibits detection of restoration under UV light. However, there does appear to be a 3'' diagonal area of repair visible under raking light.
