Modern half calf. 7 1/2 inches (19 cm); 52 folding plates, including title, preface, and 50 maps, the maps in delicate contemporary outline coloring,. Boards detached, spine worn, plate 5 (Bedford) with a burn mark resulting in loss to one corner, otherwise generally a clean copy internally.
