Publishers' white buckram spine, orange cloth sides, slipcased as issued. 83 pp., Engraved titles, an engraved map, 4 engraved vignettes and 17 engraved plates, all but the map and two vignettes hand-colored in wash, all by Edward Wadsworth. About fine in slipcase.
One of the Haselwood Books, this is atypical of Wadsworth's output, but is an exquisite work, superbly executed at the Curwen Press. The descriptions are by Bernard Windeler.
