George III Mahogany Console
Circa 1770
The rectangular black veined marble top above a leaf carved apron, raised on legs as freestanding Gothic columnar supports joined by a pierced fretwork X-form stretcher and ending in block feet. Height 31 inches (78.7 cm), width 51 inches (1.29 m), depth 25 1/2 inches (64.8 cm).
