Dirty varnish. Frame rubbing. Lined. Scattered inpainting: throughout much of the face of the dog; below the belly and above the back of the dog; scattered spots in the lower left area; two 1 inch areas of restoration at upper right and right center. Difficult to detect further restoration through the varnish under UV light. The fringe at upper left does not appear original to the work.
