Edges with paper tape. Masonite is backed with heavy burlap canvas. Frame rubbing. Scattered in painting along the edges. Old 7 x 4 inch T-shaped tear in the upper left area with corresponding area of inpainting. 3 x 6 inch area of inpainting in the upper right corner area. 1 1/2 inch line of inpainting at lower right area. Repair to damaged lower left corner, with inpainting. 1 inch line of inpainting to the right of the lower left corner. some inpainting around the signature. Difficult to detect further restoration under UV light through the varnish.
