Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling Silver Coffee and Tea Service
Pattern no. 9579, circa 1891-1902
Comprising a coffee pot, teapot, two-handled covered sugar bowl, creamer and a waste bowl, each decorated with two bands of stylized shell garlands. Height of coffee pot 9 3/4 inches, total approximately 72 ounces.
This pattern was exhibited at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, 1893

Each of the items have a few small dings and dents; pins and consequently the handles on both the coffee pot and teapot are loose; the embossed shell-like mid-band on the covered sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl have pinhead size holes in them; no apparent monograms or monogram removal; "T" date letter on each piece
regarding the pinholes: waste bowl: ten pinholes located in five of the rocaille motifs; creamer: five pinholes located in four of the rocaille motifs; sugar bowl: has seven pinholes located in five of the rocaille motifs
